Well, first & foremost I will have to declare that I understand nothing & no one.

I am just an ordinary soul who struggles with the complexities of this existence.

Being flawed, confused & getting it wrong are just a few of my specialities, & if I say so myself, I’m pretty good at them. But that’s the whole point of what I do. If I don’t strive to comprehend & correct myself then how can I be of any use to anyone?

I try very hard to see the many good & wonderful aspects of people & life, but I also struggle with the demons. After all, they are omnipresent.

So, I write, paint & sing (sorry about that last one – I do my best.) whatever pops in to my head because it’s what I do. Sometimes it fills me with joy & sometimes it really, really hurts. But it always helps me to tidy up my thoughts & feelings. If what I do makes sense to another soul out there or maybe even helps, then I’m happy.

I don’t have advice for anyone. Most of my own answers just lead to more questions, but I do have a useful phrase which came to me in one of my songs & that phrase is, ‘I AM MINE’. It works on so many levels. Not least, it reminds me that I am responsible for my own thoughts & actions. It also reminds me that no one & nothing has the right to own me. It is my mantra. I try to spend it wisely.

So, thank you for being here right now. Nothing is by accident.
